Dear Students,
Please be informed that CityU will resume face-to-face teaching on November 9 (Wednesday) and be prepared for further studies. The time and venue of classes taken place are the same as the original schedule.
- Students eligible for face-to-face classes must return for the course. For those who still not be permitted from entering Macao due to COVID-19 related restrictions, they shall apply to their Faculty Office for online learning, with relevant and verified supporting documents.
- As required by the Macao Government, students traveled frequently between Zhuhai and Macao, who fail to present proof of having received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine must hold a proof of negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test within 24 hours after the date of sampling when travelling to Macao from Zhuhai City or Shenzhen City of Guangdong Province. People who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Mainland or elsewhere but have not registered their information in the COVID-19 vaccination record system of the Health Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region must also hold a proof of negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test within 24 hours after the date of sampling in order to use the self-service customs clearance system (students who have been jabbed but have not registered in the vaccination record system of Macao are appealed to register as soon as possible. Students who are unable to attend the classes because they do not meet the requirements mentioned before will be treated as absent from school.
- Students who are unable to attend the classes for other reasons must apply leave of absence from the teacher in accordance with the regulations listed in the Student Handbook and will be recorded as absent from classes.
The University urges all students to pay attention to the relevant pandemic prevention measures and maintain good health self-management. Should there be any special circumstances, please contact your Faculty Office as soon as possible.
